The Barry J. Doyle Scholarship established by Feed the Firefighters Foundation in 2018 aims to help cover educational expenses for those pursuing firefighter certifications and education in Wake County. The recipient will honor the late Barry Doyle founder of Barry’s Cafe and Feed the Firefighters Foundation. The recipient should embody an attitude of service and desire to meet the needs of his/her community. Qualifications for this scholarship include having a GPA of 3.0, Wake Country residency’s and have a high school or above education.
